It’s no secret that more and more couples are facing fertility issues these days. Fertility treatments are on the rise and people are looking for alternatives and more natural solutions to help them on their fertility journey. When we look back at the generations before us, they didn’t have as many fertility problems as our generation. That got me thinking Why This could be the case and what we can do about it. I wanted to learn more and was able to talk to today’s guest, prenatal care expert Alexandria Devito, about preparing for pregnancy and what we can do to optimize our health before conception and increase our chances of a positive pregnancy test increase.

Who is Alexandria DeVito?

Alexandria DeVito is a functional nutritionist specializing in fertility and prenatal health. She is the author of 9 Months Is Not Enough: The Ultimate Pre-Pregnancy Checklist to Create a Baby-Ready Body and Boost Generational Health. She is also the founder and CEO of poplinthe first pre-pregnancy wellness company. Before founding Poplin, Alexandria worked in management consulting at McKinsey & Company. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She also has a master’s degree in nutrition and extensive training as DoulaShe is a yoga teacher and personal trainer and a certified practitioner with the Institute for Functional Medicine. All of this shapes her approach to pre-pregnancy wellness.
